Write Write Write

Welcome

Hope you will like my garden.
Planting : words for bulbs and plants, Gods' love and kindness for sturdy stems, poetry for healthy leaves, short stories for plant shape, help from friends for pruning, patience and persistance for beautiful blooms.
I am hoping and planning to grow a full fledged author, from this ground.

Please Vote DAILY,for my Friend Ginny

would appreciate your vote for my Ham It Up video "A New Generation" posted by vlgregory (my maiden name) at http://greeneggscon test.suess. com/contests/ confirmation/ 7431/554979. I would be sooooooo grateful if you would vote 5 eggs for me (that's the best, of course) and add a comment in the alloted area. The comments help boost my ratings, too.

The boys are my grandsons. The costume and poem are my own doing.

If you would, you could vote once EVERY DAY until the 3rd of Nov. I would be sooooo thankful for your help.

Best Wishes,

Ginny

Cammie King Conlon/Bonnie Blue Butler in GWTW

1 September 2010
Child Actress dies at age 76
Conlon was just four years old when she was picked to play the daughter of Rhett Butler and Scarlett O'Hara. Former child actress Cammie King Conlon used to joke "that I peaked at age 5."

But what a peak.
Conlon was four years old when she portrayed the ill-fated Bonnie Blue Butler in the 1939 blockbuster film "Gone With the Wind." Three years later, she voiced the part of the doe Faline in "Bambi."

After that, she departed show business and eventually had a family and a new career. As she grew older, Conlon was a gracious link between the film and its millions of fans.

Janet Kay Gallagher note; I spoke to Cammie on the telephone and her website,in early 2010. She was very gracious. Had to decline our invitation to speak and sign her book, BONNIE BLUE BUTLER: A GONE WITH THE WIND MEMOIR, at the 5th Annual Cherry Blossom Festival in April 2010. She had a previous engagement in Texas that same day. She suggested we ask Sally Tippett Rains, who's new book was just out. THE MAKING OF A MASTERPIECE, THE TRUE STORY OF MARGARET MITCHELL'S NOVEL,GONE WITH THE WIND. We did invite her and, Sally was a great success.

Sally is now in charge of the GWTW Conference in November. On the link below is information all about the conference. There will be a full dress period Ball too!
Just imagine the dress you want to wear!!!

Vacation

Much has happened since, last update. I was reminded by a friend that, "you are not a writer if you are not writing." So the plan is to post often. Starting today.
Marshfield, Missouri Fifth Annual Cherry Blossom Festival was over in April. Great events. Hope you will all attend next year, last weekend in April 2011. I was so thankful for the Book Signers that attended. Planning to have a bigger traffic area location next year.
Apple Valley,California today viaiting my Brother and Sister-in-law and her Sister.
Great time here. Hot weather.
Will be home soon with new ideas and excited about the up-coming events with the writing groups. Ozarks Romance Author's Conference is 10 July 2010. Plan to attend.
This will be so good. You will enjoy the friends and fun and learn from the speakers.

I Survived First Annual JANO as a Participant !

Hi,
JANO(Sleuth's Ink Mystery Writers)Write 50,000 words in a month. Is over! Four out of twenty participants got the 50,000 words written. One out of five that entered did it! Congratulation to all the Winners. Congratulations to all the Participants. The ones who did not hit the goal found that they could get lots of words down and that they had made a start to the book they always wanted to write. This was great fun. We celebrated with a super pizza party. Everyone who entered it is looking forward to doing it next January. Some who did not join in, are looking forward to next year.

About Me

My photo
My son,Ken,recently retired after 20 years service in the U.S. Navy. I am very proud of him. Good Friends are a Blessing. Red Hats for Jesus is a fun group, so glad to have this fellowship. The Wednesday Breakfast Club(JEWELS)brought me many wonderful friends. Each one is Special. The Weekly Writers Guild is a very important part of my life. I am the leader, since Nicholas, had to give it up to work more hours. Thanks for passing the torch to me. Emma, Elsie, Claudette, Judy, Betty Jo, I enjoy writing  with you. New interest for us has been gained from joining with other writers at their meetings. Hope to gain lots of new friends there.
