Write Write Write

Welcome

Hope you will like my garden.
Planting : words for bulbs and plants, Gods' love and kindness for sturdy stems, poetry for healthy leaves, short stories for plant shape, help from friends for pruning, patience and persistance for beautiful blooms.
I am hoping and planning to grow a full fledged author, from this ground.

Cammie King Conlon/Bonnie Blue Butler in GWTW

1 September 2010
Child Actress dies at age 76
Conlon was just four years old when she was picked to play the daughter of Rhett Butler and Scarlett O'Hara. Former child actress Cammie King Conlon used to joke "that I peaked at age 5."

But what a peak.
Conlon was four years old when she portrayed the ill-fated Bonnie Blue Butler in the 1939 blockbuster film "Gone With the Wind." Three years later, she voiced the part of the doe Faline in "Bambi."

After that, she departed show business and eventually had a family and a new career. As she grew older, Conlon was a gracious link between the film and its millions of fans.

Janet Kay Gallagher note; I spoke to Cammie on the telephone and her website,in early 2010. She was very gracious. Had to decline our invitation to speak and sign her book, BONNIE BLUE BUTLER: A GONE WITH THE WIND MEMOIR, at the 5th Annual Cherry Blossom Festival in April 2010. She had a previous engagement in Texas that same day. She suggested we ask Sally Tippett Rains, who's new book was just out. THE MAKING OF A MASTERPIECE, THE TRUE STORY OF MARGARET MITCHELL'S NOVEL,GONE WITH THE WIND. We did invite her and, Sally was a great success.

Sally is now in charge of the GWTW Conference in November. On the link below is information all about the conference. There will be a full dress period Ball too!
Just imagine the dress you want to wear!!!
